What is Shoes For The Shoeless?

We are proudly participating in the Shoe Service Institute of America's Shoes for the Shoeless program - a nationwide effort to get unwanted but wearable footwear out of America's closets and onto the feet of those who need them.
The Shoes for the Shoeless program started in 1993 as a way for shoe repair shops nationwide to do something productive with shoes that have been dropped off for repair but never picked up. We were very successful as we collected thousands of pairs of shoes to help disaster victims, the homeless, and others in need.
In fact, the Shoes for the Shoeless program was so successful that the American Society of Association Executives presented SSIA with an Associations Advance America Award of Excellence for  for its contribution to the community.
Every year we reach out to the public. We collaberate with local organizations to help distribute the shoes to those in need in western New York.

How Can I Help?

If you have wearable shoes that are gathering dust in your closet - last year's style, size or color - please bring them to our store. You can also contact us directly by email or phone for more information. We will put the shoes back in service and someone who might otherwise have to spend the winter without a pair of shoes will benefit from your generosity. Thank you!
